Season 2 Episode 2: literary so much, my heart is full, and a little more.

Man I don't even know where to start, or what days these occurred, they are in my journal but I don't have that with me RIP. But here we go!

Some interesting encounters:
There is a less active member that runs a bar/restaurant and he feed us whenever we go, and we got into a really good discussion with some of the customers (an older couple) that were there and the lady was an Irish woman and the father served in the military and we talked about Jesus's church and how it should follow the bible and not politics of which we agreed and we had a really nice discussion and on there way out she gave us a nice slobbery kiss (it was a polite gesture from where she was from and we didn't want to be rude, but I was still cringing so hard for the next few days haha.)

Then there was another lady when we went to visit some of the less active members and someone who was interested on a native (or first nation) reserve and while looking for the person we were going to teach (lives in a red house) walked up to what we thought was his house, and a hammered lady staggers out of her house with sun glasses on, a beer (or some kind of alcoholic drink) in one hand and a cigarette (unlit) in the other. And we were like hello how are you, -good awesome well we are looking for Christopher! -he doesn't live here, hes over there *swayingly points to a blue house across the road and then she was like so what do you want with him? And we were like we are missionaries for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and we teach people more about Jesus Christ! And she was like why don't you teach me about it *makes slight pouty face like this 🤤. And we were like yeah we would love to come back! Thanks for the directions! So well see if we go back there haha.

But I guess back to that story, we did meet Christopher, but not the one we where planning on teaching but he too was interested in learning more especially the bible. Turns out too, that they have the same first and last name.  Huh that seems to be a trend with me and I love it haha. Also that day we visited with some way cool members and part member families and were able to give 2 blessings. And that's always an awesome experience.

Then on the 4th we were so busy! we got back from a relatively muddy road (probably the one on the way home from the reserve) we parked the car grabbed some stuff for a lesson we had with Dallas (a young man we have on date for baptism), and one of the tires got dry eroded and got completely flat. It took about an hour to replace with the spare we had (happy birthday me haha) and we unfortunately had to cancel that lesson. But we did make it in time for dinner with the whites!

A little background though. Elder scott and fife have been trying to meet with the whites so that they could try to teach an awesome kid names Alex who the whites took in who isn't a member. But since it was by birthday, brother white invited us over and we had an awesome dinner (and Alex was there) and we shared a message about the light of christ (in short there's a guy raised in a nonbeliever home gets a full ride scholarship for basketball, loses it, and wants to die, he hears about fasting, does, does not want to die, and his friend calls him and he learns of the church) then elder Scott shared some of his personal experiences (hes also a softy despite being a football player) and something just clicked with Alex. We didn't know at this time but you'll see in a second. So we finished our lesson and the whites brought out a pumpkin pie (😖) and put 19 candles (a few of them were trick candles too haha that was unexpected) and they sang happy birthday to me and I'll have to get the video that sister white recorded haha. They also got me a super fly tie as well. And honestly words can't describe my happiness and joy for them they are just so terrific. Then to end the night we knocked for a bit and found a guy that has had a troubled life overall and is open to new stuff, but has a narrow mind set. We taught him a little about the restoration and plan of salvation and left him a copy of the book of Mormon. And on our way back home, thought to myself hey that guy could be my birthday present from Heavenly Father (well see haha) but as it turned out Heavenly Father had a little more for me.

I was doing my evening prayer and hear the area phone go off and then elder scott say no way! an im like hmm whats that. And brother white texted us saying that Alex texted him and told him that he wants to be baptized! And I was like let's freaking go!

Previously as well we helped the youth during mutual and played speedball and we got to talk with Alex a little bit there and and Alex got hit where it hurts most and elder scott ran up to him and semi whispered "you have to protect your mcnuggets!" Which is a quote from some movie idk they both were laughing quite a bit. So they got pretty tight with that Haha.

Then we had general conference and that was so bomb! There so much i want to say but no time (in fact it's running out ;))
Then we had interviews with president Low and zone conference! We got to stay in moncton at the zone leaders apartment with 6 other elders so that was rough in the sense that no one got sleep haha. And in zone conference we talked primarily on spring cleaning and conference as well as spiritual self reliance. So that was way good have this be a reminder to get your spring cleaning done haha.

This area is going to be poppin soon too so stay tuned it's going to get crazy.

Thanks again for all your prayers I love you all your all fantastic people.
