Season 6 Episode 13: The grand finale.

Well here we are. My last weekly. After 6 seasons of spiritual entertainment this is it. To get things started, heres an update of the work!

There's been a lot of progress with many of the people are teaching especially Jamin he is very ready and he is very active in learning which is awesome! Additionally I've been messaging a handful of people and have made excellent progress! every chance I get I ask them if I can share a video and send them the link to the "ask of God" video. That video gets em'!!

Light the world has also been very awesome we've had many cool experiences hearing back from members who weve invited to take on challenges with the calendar!

We also had our Mission leadership conference this week and I had the privilege and honour of taking notes! so that's always fun. I don't think I missed anything or at least no one said I did haha.

But yeah every night is full of calling and messaging people and setting up appointments which keeps us really busy, as well we've been doing a lot of Christmas preparing for the zone! We have been writing Christmas cards to each missionary in the zone and it's been pretty sweet.

Here's were it gets good, ( don't skip this part. )
But now to kind of turn things from the week to these last two years, there's been a lot that I have learned. And one email definitely won't tell you everything I learned but I'll share a couple of things.

The first is the power of agency or the power to choose. Depending on how we use this gift, that God has given to all His children, we either live in his presence or not. This is a very special and kinda scary gift. It's why using this gift righteously is so important. But I've also learned that God is on our side. He is rooting for us and helping us along the way. He has done everything He can to help us, we then just have the choice.

Along with the concept of choosing. We choose to have a good day.
Close to 10 missionaries over the course of my mission have asked me, "how are you so happy? Why are you so confident? Are you ever down?" And whenever I get asked this, I really have to think. I don't really do anything in particular with my morning routine or hype myself up per se, but in response to these questions I would tell them, I choose to. We have that gift. We choose to believe that this day is a good day. And then it is. Choosing to be happy is another one. You can choose. That's something God has given us. That ability! I've also learned on my mission that satan wants that gift to be his. He wants to take that from us. So he'll try to make events, substances, etc. To dull our ability to choose. This results in addictions, habits, or mindsets that require other attention to restore this gift to us. And sometimes that restoration doesn't come in this life. But ultimately it's a choice. You choose to have a good day, an ok day, or a bad day. It can be raining, blizzarding, your socks can be drenched, your ears and fingers frozen, people choosing not to learn more or responding back to you, but you choose your attitude.

The second thing. Repentance. Before my mission I had it in the back of my mind that it was an ominous term that only the wicked did, or even didn't do. But I found this nearly perfect analogy.

Brushing your teeth. Now this gets pretty personal, so a little back story. Before my mission, I honestly didn't brush my teeth a lot. And when I was getting checked for my mission the dentist told to promise to her to brush and floss my teeth every day on my mission. So I did. Pretty early on I did a smile direct teeth aliner thing and with that I had to brush my teeth after every meal. (Which wasn't to bad haha) and my teeth started getting whiter! Imagine that! Anyways back to the analogy.

Take a sinner (all of us) we eat or sin (it's our nature) and if we don't clean up or repent, our mouth is going to get worse and worse until teeth fall out and rot or what ever worse conditions can come from not brushing your teeth. Repentance is brushing your teeth. You can add to your repentance by adding toothpaste and flossing. Much like how scriptures study, praying, church attendance etc. Help keep our soul clean and healthy. These are some things that we can do on our own to help us repent and keep living happy lives. But sometimes we get a cavity. That's something that we can't really do anything about. We have to go to a dentist to get it fixed. And that dentist, is our loving Heavenly Father. And He'll clean it for free. But he tells us to brush our teeth, floss and use toothpaste.

Hopefully that made sense. It did as I was typing it.

Third. The Grace of Jesus Christ. I don't have a lot of time, but in short, Grace isn't a student loan. It's a scholarship. Its meant to be used and taken advantage of. It's not having God help you with a purchase of a bike, its God buying you that bike, and asking you to go somewhere with it. Its God dropping the ladder to heaven, asking you to climb it. What is the point of salvation or even exultation, without transformation. Our purpose of coming to earth wasn't to coast back into the presence of God, it was to come back better.

There is so much more. And many experiences I wish to share, but another time.

Love you all. And see many of you soon.

Season 6 Episode 12: Rewards

This week was full of a lot of awesome things. Let's get started!

So to start off Jaimen is an absolute Legend he's a young man who had a couple different trials in his life and because of them he is so well prepared for the gospel. After our third lesson with him we felt impressed ask him if he wants to be baptized to which he said he did and so he put a goal up for January 23rd!

We have been having lessons with him twice a week and he's a the most involved person I've ever taught he even takes notes!

We have also been in contact with many members of the church and setting up lessons for light the world which have been very good.

We also had exchanges with the assistants. I really love Elder Brown. I got to do a lot of missionary work with him and teach with him! One of the people we talked to asked how long we had both been out to which we responded we're nearing the end of our mission some more than others ;) and she gave us a whole bunch of advice including but not limited to continuing the habit of planning and getting busy as soon as you can when you get home.

Overall that exchange was very good and Elder Brown had many kind things to say about me. He invited me to validate as many people as I could before I leave especially my companion so I will definitely do that!

One of the cool things that happened is Elder Van Der put came home from his mission and his mtc report day was December 12th 2018, the same day I went into the MTC. So it was a little weird when he gave his homecoming talk haha. I don't remember if I met him, but I probably did haha

But this week was a spiritual overhaul because we got to deliver a wonderful teaching (all by the spirit which is always so sweet. We prepare something but God had a different message in mind) additionally we got to have a couple of meetings with -president -sister low with the rest of the mission leadership in the which we talked a lot about the Christmas season and how we can lift the spirits of missionaries especially with the restrictions. Not going to lie I'm glad that I'll Be Home for Christmas, but the plans that they have set forth some really and truly amazing and I'll be sad to miss out. For those who don't know or have lost track of time this is actually my second to last email that I'll send out. As far as I know I'm coming home on the 18th of December. And I'll share more thoughts about how I feel in my next email!

So stay tuned for that. Know that I love you all and hope the very best for you and this coming week! Remember to read your scriptures and to pray because that helps a lot of people out!

A small spiritual thought though, while we were on exchanges Elder Brown and I talked a lot about the christ-like attribute of patience. We had a very wonderful discussion and based on what we had studied interpersonal studies we came to a couple different conclusions and here's one of them. You know that anxious feeling you get when you're about to give a talk or speak in public? That is a form of impatience. The reason being is because the definition of patience is to endure delay opposition or anxiety. And so when we're anxious we are being impatient. You could also see it as a sign of pride because we are fearing. Anyways again love you all and talk with you next week!

Season 6 Episode 11: a pretty stressful week

Yeah so the almost all nighter went well! We ended up getting home around 2 am but all safely! We didn't get to sleep in much, because we had to deliver a car to a uhaul place to get a hitch and so getting to drive again was nice! The rest of the day was full of contacting and preparing for zone conference and getting the news of having zone conference online rather then in person as well as exchanges were now digital. RIP to the in person interaction. But that's ok. The work continues to move forward anyway.

Zone conference was a blast we got to teach in normal and natural interactions online, which was pretty fun. And president and sister low taught on the power and authority of the calling we hold as missionaries and patience. Which are quite the topics and I got a lot out of it. We also had a talent show afterwards and that was both fantastic and hilarious! Well he having a gift exchange in our district councils so that will be fun. President and sister low for their talent did another puppet show and was awesome Haha.

Both before and after zone conference we had digital exchages with moncton and the last in person exchanges with Dartmouth (former bay roberts) and those all ended wonderfully. And many miracles took place. Including but not limited to, finding 3 people. And referring 1 to moncton! (I've got the miramichi sim card and a number called me and I missed it listened to the voice mail and it was the most elect voicemail I've ever heard.  But the others we found were Adel, a gentleman that I first contacted when I was in Bedford at the beginning of this year. The story of him is quite fun, he was basically hating on the bible and how it's false and not true, (he also assumed the book of mormon was a different bible translation hehe) and basically confounded him in a honestly pure way and now he's like, wut? Another book that isn't the bible that preaches christianity?? I'm interested. So that was very fun. Then there is Ali a lady that elder penner has been messaging. Then the other guy is Jamin a super select guy who'd been in contact with the church for a while and knows the book of mormon is true. It's when hard work gets rewarded in this way Haha. So we will be working very closely with all of them and help them out in as many ways as we can. As far as the rest of the week, the grind is still on and a lot of logistic stuff is out of the way as well.

This week will be awesome as well and I'm looking forward to being able to keep this up!

Sorry if it's a little shorter, time is running out for me haha love you all and hope the best for each of you as we go into this Christmas season!

The #givethanks thing was epic as well!

Season 6 episode 10 keeping the grind and rip Newfoundland

Yes and not a whole lot to report on. We've just been keeping up the grind and a lot of contacting with a lot of member lessons and getting to know them building their trust and trying to give referrals. We've had close to 3-4 lessons a day which is super awesome and then mix it up with organizing stuff for the zone and meetings, we've got our hands full!

We've also received some unfortunate news and because of the increase of cases the area of Newfoundland will be closing temporarily So while the missionaries are kind of bummed about, they'll be all coming here to Nova Scotia! So we're very excited to have them here and we'll definitely do our best to help lift them up and get them busy!

We also had our MLC which was very good. We discussed a lot about duties of zone leadership and then how we can help with motivation and enthusiasm as we move into the Christmas season and potential home sickness, with covid still going on.

And small update on covid, its actually getting worse. Woo ho. So a couple things happend. First that our first ever zone conference is canceled and will be over zoom :(. The next is that the Atlantic bubble popped. So if you travel outside the province you have to self quarantine for 2 weeks. And with this new information, president Low felt impressed to take out the missionaries serving in Newfoundland. Which is a huge bummer and yeah, many are upset about it, but they know and recognize its need. And they are coming here to nova Scotia!

So yeah. Zone conference this week, and helping the other missionaries get settled in formerly closed areas that will be happening tomorrow!

Sorry it's a little shorter, we had a district pday and I'll attach some pictures!
Love you all remember to read your scriptures and to pray!

Season 6 Episode 8: let get this bread

Yeah so elder Fife headed home this last week, and now elder Penner is my companion, and he is an absolute stud of a missionary.

Because this week has been an absolute grind and here's why!

We started with a whole bunch of area book calling and let's just say that many people have been prepared for the random calls that we gave them over the course of the last couple nights. At first we started calling formers and we didn't have a whole lot there although we did find two potential people to give returned calls to. Then we started calling random members because we don't know a whole lot of them. And we ended up calling to less active ladies who had been pondering on whether or not to call the missionaries and go back to church.

We have had many lessons with other members and are slowly getting referrals from them including a family that has been asking one of the families of the ward questions about Joseph Smith and the church! So we're just waiting for those normal and natural interactions to turn into a teaching opportunity for us. Then there's a handful of other young couples that have co-workers and classmates that have also been asking them questions. It's so cool to see how the Lord is preparing people even if we're not teaching people. Additionally along with balancing the area we've also had a lot of focus on the zone and how to unify it. This transfer we will be blessed to have an in-person Zone conference and this particular conference will be the Christmas Zone conference which I am so so excited for! I believe that this will be an excellent way to unify the zone.

Additionally we've been calling each team in the zone rather than just District leaders to get to know them and to answer any questions they have. And then of course there's the other thing to throw into the midst which is helping the Facebook page and right now it's kind of struggling, but with light the world coming up it's going to get pretty sweet!

Something that I've done with my studies recently since I finished my journal Edition Book of Mormon is doing what president Nelson did which is read the references in the top of a guide relating to Jesus Christ. I really enjoyed this and I've been able to finish the section on Jesus Christ, Redeemer and Jesus Christ, advocate it's so incredible to read how much Jesus Christ has truly done for each of us. One other thing that I've noticed is the Bible does a good job at describing what a redeemer and Advocate is but The Book of Mormon stresses about having faith in it more than the Bible says about it, so that was a fun pattern. Insure my Studies have been very uplifting and I've been able to learn more about Jesus Christ role and our Salvation as well as the choice that is up to us to accept it.

I'm also super pumped to be able to have all these exchanges with so many Elders as well. Overall I'm very excited for this transfer!

Anyways sorry this one's a little bit shorter I do love you all and hope you have an excellent week! Please remember to read your scriptures and to pray and also to check out the new light the world stuff and what -president Nelson is going to share with us this Friday... I think

Until next time!!

Season 6 Episode 7: Sydney Trip

Sisters and brothers. What a week. Having monday pday last week made this one feel a little long, but it was a great one nonetheless!

I would love to tell you all the miracles that we've been experiencing but they're not the missionary miracles you'd expect, like we found a new person or lessons are amazing, though there was little of that haha

These miracles are what elder Bednar called the tender mercies of the Lord.

I finished the book of Mormon today. And I really wanted to have a profound experience in getting an answer to my prayer about the truthfulness of the book of Mormon. And as I finished chapter 10, I stopped. And got on my knees and prayed. The prayer went something like this

Dear Heavenly Father, I just read the book of Mormon. And I am praying with real intent, sincerity of heart and faith is Jesus Christ. Is the book of Mormon true?
...
...
...
...
...
...
Nothing. Come on now, I know you'll give me an answer
...
...
...
You already know its true.
.
Yeah but I want to feel it
...
...
Remember your experiences you've had? Or the feelings you get from your patriarical blessing?
...
Yeah
...
And how about the call you had at home and the joy your younger brother and sister had when they got their blessings?
...
Ok, you got me. It's true. Thank you.
In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

It was such an incredible experience. It was a good couple minutes before I started having these thoughts in my head. Maybe I was a little impatient haha. But after my prayer I felt peace. I had no negative feelings what so ever. I also felt happy, and there is no way that such peace and joy as I have felt and seen in close family members could be because of something fake. Like I think of the times I went to roaring springs (for those of you idahoans) and I felt happiness there it was fun! But this joy can't be simulated by worldly things its just a little bit different then worldly joy. The difference is that this Joy comes from God and it lasts forever. It's really neat.

But yeah that was the highlight of this week we did a lot of misc. Stuff to help with mission logistics including but not limited to;
Un installing a tiwi or four. That was fun haha. Theres this glue that you have to cut or carefully scrape off and fortunately a pocket knife works wonders on that hehehe.
Additionally selling cars. That's a fun process haha.

Forewarning, The spirit may not be as present while reading below haha

But the biggest thing this week was probably our trip to Sydney nova Scotia. It's a good old 4 and a half hour drive from Halifax and the reason we were going was because in Newfoundland, the church is selling the cars the missionaries are currently using and giving them brand new ones. So we had the privilege of driving them up to the ferry in Sydney. (Its the closest one haha) while we were up there we also had assignment to move one of the apartments into another apartment because the mission was closing one of them. So we had planned to have it done in 2 days, drive up there, stay the night, deliver the cars to the ferry, move the appartment, and then head home.

Let's just say that everything that could go wrong, did.

We planned to leave Halifax at 3, get us there by 7:30 -8ish to get things situated, but one of the missionaries forgot their tiwi card so we had to take a trip back. Additionally, one of the car batteries was dead. So we got there around 9:30. And to our astonishment, the keys we had wouldn't unlock the door to the missionaries apt. So after finding the landlords place, they gave us the senior couples apt. keys and what they thought were the elders apt keys. So we got back to the elders apt, to find that it didnt work either. So we went to the senior couple apt, keys worked, and ...

There was one bed and a couch.
2 blankets
So here is us,  4 elders.

No one claimed the bed so I was fortunate there,  but I ended up using one of the curtains as a blanket. It worked so yeah, but the elders sleeping on the floor didn't have the greatest time haha.
Needless to say, it was a fun night.

Morning came pretty slow and we learned that there was no hot water, and none of us knew anything about how to turn it on, so we just didnt shower haha
Then we had to get the cars to the ferry at 8, so we got dressed and started driving over. We assumed it wouldn't take long and we'd have breakfast later, So 2 of the elders took the 2 new cars to the ferry. I went with another elder to wait for them to pass through.
And we waited
And waited
And waited
2 hours go by. I message them. They think they are going soon, I tell them that we are going to a nearby beach (which we did and it was way fun
Got a lot of sea glass and other cool rocks) and spent 2 hours there *me constantly checking my phone for a notification to see if they are done* didnt get one, so we walked back and waited.
And waited a little more.
Then when they finally got through, we were all starving and by then it was about 2 or 3 o'clock. So we went to one of the top stared restaurants, and had a super good burger. Then we started to move the stuff in the senior apartment to the elders apartment, assuming, because there was almost nothing there, that they were getting rid of that one. Additionally with the key predicament, we decided to try every key we had, i picked one, tried the first key. And it worked. Nice. So we started, and we had one rogue to do it, but we got it done in about 3 hours, everything moved. And now we are sitting at about 6 o'clock with 4 and a half hour drive ahead of us, pretty tired and not really wanting to, so we called president and told us the status, and we haven't had dinner and he told us to have dinner, but to get on the road. So ae planned to do that, so as we we were returning the keys to the land lord, we told her that everything got moved ok from the senior apt to the elders apt. She thanked us but then said, oh, I thought it was the other way around. Huh maybe it's just me. So we left. Hoping that she thought wrong. But then spirit told us that we should call the housing elders, and learned that we moved the wrong apartment.

So yeah.
We called president again, told him the situation, and he gave us the go ahead to stay another day to finish moving the apartment. So we went to a nice sea food place for dinner, then drove back to the elders apartment, and began the process of using our rogue to move all this stuff. We called elder wentzell, the vehicle coordinator (basically the logistics man for the Atlantic side) and he was generous enough to get us a uhaul! So he told us that we could pick one up at 9 the next morning. So that was a blessing.

Fortunately we slept a lot better in the elders apt, with 5 mattresses, 2 couches etc. Plenty of blankets towles warm water etc. That was a good night! So we got up ready, and then went to a beach till it was time to get the uhaul. It was pretty nice haha. Then the grind. We managed to miraculously fit everything into the uhaul as well as our one rouge so that was good. Went to a pizza place on the way home and made it back home around 7.

That was an adventure, and quite the journal entry haha

Thought you might enjoy that story
Love you all and hope this weeks a good one for you!

Season 6 Episode 6: Truro Trip and More Exchanges

 This week flew by!

Here are a few of the highlights!
Thursday we had exchanges with the sackville elders which went super great! We got to spend a couple hours with Elder Wu and Elder Edstrom! I have great love and charity for these wonderful elders. I've had the privilege to serve along side them in districts and companionships. Both are incredible spirit lead missionaries. It's kinda fun they've got the most different personalities as well as cultures, but inspiration brought them together and they are quite the team! Then once they left, about 20 minutes later the moncton elders came in, and so we got to have an overnight exchange with Elder Madsen and Elder Barrett! Of which I was companions with both of them and it was quite the exchange! They are covering 6 areas because they are 2 of the 5 missionaries in all of New Brunswick. We got word from president Low and Spragg that cordinations should be happening in every area/ward/branch and that the elders quorum and relief society should each have a representative present. So we let them know, and they have all the more work to do now haha but they are both solid and amazing elders so they'll get r' done.

Then friday we moved the truro apartment out which was both nostalgic and kinda sad. We moved one set of furniture to the next until everything was cleaned out. But it was good missionaries will be back some day!

Then the rest of the days getting set for future activities!

Then this Sunday we had another great in person church service, the 2nd one, and it was a testimony meeting as I'm sure it was for the rest of yall, and man, in person church is just so great.

Then If we could hear enough testimonies, we also heard the departing missionaries testimonies as well for the regular sunday night devotionals that president Low does! And not to brag or anything, but our mission makes the best missionaries. I'm proabaly biased. But there were some great testimonies.
And no it's not quite transfer week, this transfer is 7 weeks because the arriving missionaries got bumped back a week.

So we'll find out transfer news this Saturday! I already know I'm getting a new comp since my current companion is going home, and I'll proabaly get Elder Penner, and if so I'm so hyped. He's an amazing elder. But we shall see!

Also since this transfer is a little longer, the next one will be 5 weeks!

The work is going and miracles are around the corner! I love it,  it's the best. Especially when its burger week 😎 (check pics)
This week we've got a handful of mission conferences so that's why pday is today haha!

Anyways, love you all. Please do read your scriptures today and tomorrow, and the next day. Also be sure to pray. It's good for you.

Season 6 Episode 5: the Fame of Maine

Oh yeah flash back season. So this week and last week we had a couple elders go home for mental or health reasons so we've had quite the week.

Because of it however, we were able to cover the presque isle area book! And was this a fantastic time. We actually had the privilege of speaking in there service and seeing a couple of the members made me so so happy. Like I can't describe it. I was just on cloud 9. Unfortunately this is temporary and the elder going home this week, and the elder we have now will be comps with the other missionary and go to greenwood, and take the areas with him. Nonetheless, we've got a handful of lessons yet to have with a few of the members there and I'm so happy! Plus we set up elder penner big for when he takes it over again. So yeah weeks have been flying by!

As far as the work goes, we finally got in contact with Lawandas mom (lawanda is an awesome member in LaSalle) and we have our first lesson tonight! We'll be passing her off with the sisters so yeah!

Still not a lot of action with Ali Reza and yeganah, but we called them and they are in higher spirits so we are hoping to meet with them at least one more time before elder fife heads out of here.

It's been a blast with elder penner,  we set up 25 lessons with members this week with both non members and members so we've been busy grinding on all these areas (Yarmouth, Presque isle, and Halifax)

It's been just way good. Tiring but good. The work is always progressing. And we are learning and progressing all along the way!

Teaching in a trio is quite the experience too. Fortunately we are all spiritual ballers and mesh really well with one another. Plus we are all helping each other with our weaknesses and strengthening all them!

Anyways sorry theres not a lot to say, I wish I could say more, but time is running out haha

Anyways love you all and hope you all have an absolutely wonderful day!
Remember to read your scriptures and pray every day. Your days will be better I promise! I'm a living witness.

Season 6: Episode 4: First Ever AP Exchanges and Cookies

What a wonderful week. Let's get into it!

Ok so to start it off on Wednesday, we participated in yarmouths district council which is fun, it so weird it's like theres that one DC that the zls come to and its awesome, and it's just fun to be in that position and go to all the districts. It's also cool to see how the gift of discernment works and to tell if anyone is struggling. Fortunately almost all the teams are doing solid despite unfortunate key indicators which is taking a toll of some teams. Plus we're heading into winter with less sun and odds are, more big sad... but we'll be that ray of sunshine ;)

Then Thursday we had MLC, the first one in person since covid happened, but unfortunately we were the only team (aside from the stls in this zone) that didnt go in person haha. But it was ok, we were broadcasted on a nice big screen TV, so we got to be included pretty well haha.

Two of the biggest discussion points where how to get light the world started and planned before october is over and what to do from 6-9. A little preface of what 6-9 is; the evening everyday being people time. So far it's been a grind calling folks on areabook, or messaging people, not a lot of lessons are happening we'll say haha. So we counciled a lot and it was actually pretty cool because one of the first things that were brought up was to deliver cookies to members or friends so we did that a couple days later and I like that you get some in person contact and you brighten their day with cookies what better combo is there???

Side note, because we did this we got back in contact with the 3 people we are teaching, ali reza and yeganah!

But yeah it was very spirit lead and was an enlightening meeting! Passing along the information was pretty fun to. It's so great to be working with so many missionaries! Such wonderful diligent and elect people.

Then Friday came around and we had exchanges with the assistants, i got to be with the wonderful Texan, elder Calabuig, the same elder Calabuig I was with in LaSalle for a couple weeks! it was awesome, in person would have been a ball. But video call is the next best thing. So it was a fun process got to message many folks, work on posts, reels, all the works and then of course the best part of the exchange just talking and cultivating revelation. And there was a handful of things gained, but I'll share this because it took a little longer for me to realize, and here it is:

So rewind a bit, in Bedford that was kinda rough spot the work was very slow,  covid had just hit and we were in the deep of self quarantining and I didnt know what obedience was. (Dont worry I didn't do anything apostate) but it was hard to feel successful when time after time, member lessons, friend lessons, would fall though. Then after spending only one transfer there I get transfered to LaSalle and spent 2 glorious weeks with Elder Calabuig which whipped me into shape with the work because we were teaching a lot! Then the spirit called elder Calabuig to Halifax and I was then comps with elder Noad, but I don't remember adding him to my weekly list, but he did so he got my weekly's every week. And so facing similar challenges in Halifax when the was there, he expressed that my weekly's helped him out and showed him that the work happens regardless of what area you're in. So that was super uplifting to me!
Now backtrack a little more, the day I was set apart to be a missionary, one of the blessings that was said was that my weeklys/letters that I would write home would help lift specific friends and family members, and it was during a personal study a couple days after that exchange that I remembered that my family had decided after my setting apart to write what we could remember about the blessing on paper, so during my personal study I found them and read  though them and saw that phrase written. And I just was in awe of the validation of that blessing. It was a super spiritual experience and a really uplifting study.

Then the rest of the days are just full of grinding and getting the work done and making vids and helping the Facebook page.

Anyways love you all again! Hope your week is great and it keeps getting better!! Keep on praying and reading your scriptures!

Season 6 Episode 3: another solid exchange!

This week was super awesome. We had another exchange with the elders in Yarmouth. Elder Penner is a super solid missionary! I was able to spend the day with him and teach a couple lessons! it was cool how much unity we had, despite the little preparation we did haha hes going to be a great missionary and hes got the most solid testimony and drive. And he can play the guitar.

We also had a whole bunch of good food and some donairs for Canadian Thanksgiving so that was a winner. We also took a handful of pictures which I'll add to this email! Additionally we had several meetings with the social media specialist for the Atlantic page and I got to help them with some healthy practices with advertising and things to help the page grow! They definitely have a lot on their plate so this helped them a lot haha.

But yeah mission life is solid we're still not teaching a whole lot but that's okay because we're busy with helping out the page and meeting members and helping them. One cool thing we did for pday today was we went on a Peggy's Cove hike and let's just say we had some close calls with the ocean haha I'll see if I can attach a video of me almost getting rekt.

Regardless of the stupid things we made do the work still progresses. The gospel is true and can change somebody and church is awesome. We'll be able to go to in person Church not next week but the one after which will be exciting.

Another neat side note the colours are fully changing here in Nova Scotia and it's super pretty! But anyway love you all and hope you have an excellent week sorry this one is a little shorter I'll try to make a longer one next week haha.

Love you all and remember to read your scriptures!
