Season 5 Episode 15

 Oh man. This week was absolutely nuts. 

Micheals baptism was so incredible and was probably the most spiritual baptism I've had and I think its because so many things worked out and there was a young chinese boy that shared a message about baptism that was so spiritual and spirit led and so innocent and pure the spirit was the strongest I've ever felt I think. And it was so cool too because originally we were going to leave the church building when the 10 people who were supposed to come came. And as it turns out, brother Huang only brought one of his sons (the super awesome kid that spoke) and then there was a miscommunication with the primary representative and she didnt come and so two spots opened for us to witness and participate in the baptism! Everyone wore masks and it was so great. 

Then if that Saturday couldn't get any better we had an incredible like probably the best lesson we have ever taught and the best one I've ever participated in with Shan! She's the one that had the dreams and she is so elect. She wants to find answers so bad and it's so fun because she was wrestling with the spirit (she didnt say it but it was what she was describing) and she is committed to figure it out and said that she would devote her life if she figured out this was true. The closest thing I can compare this to is the discussion of ammon with king lamoni and then Aaron with king Lamoni's Father the spirit was the most incredible and her prayer was basically king lamonis Fathers prayer and during it I was like I could collapse from joy right now. And when we ended the call elder Noad and I just sat on the couch for a couple minutes in awe of what we just heard and witnessed. The spirit from the baptism just followed us into that lesson and into the rest of the day because we had another great lesson with starleen! And she will be thinking about baptism! 

Sorry that's so long but it was so incredible. Plus she came to church the next day and the spirit just filled us when we saw her on the zoom participants. 

In other news, we found a guy named John who talked to us while we were at KFC and we got his number, had a lesson with him the the park and got him a book of Mormon and hes pretty interested! So stay tuned for him

Elder Noad also found another elect Philippine and we are having a pass off lesson with the Montreal sisters this week!  Plus theres the other 54 people that reached out to the ad that are being sent out as soon as the zone leadership can! 

That being said, the zone leadership is kinda overwhelmed with those 54 message conversations haha but when there is a will there is a way and close to 8 if them have been referred and are being taught!

So yeah lots of stuff lead up to those events many prayers have been answered and they continue to be answered 

Plus there will be a mission tour this week with Elder Mccune! So that will be hype

Season 5: Episode 13: So many messages and Comments

 The Facebook page is going crazy and are reaching so many people just in the last few days over 50 people have commented on out ads or reacted to them or messaged them. So if we do it right, that's over 50 people to start teaching. 

Plus president Low did some prophesying and as we were talking about the language learning groups within the page, he told us that he felt those groups would be the main source of finding people to teach then any thing else we did on the page. So that hype. 

We may be pioneers, but we must be doing something right because blessings and miracles are everywhere to be found. So many things are in our favor and proper planning on our end will allow us to reap them all.

But on the other side of the work, we've got a baptism this Saturday and getting that set up will take some time in itself especially with the restrictions still in place. But we'll get it worked out! 

Additionally during lunch last week for pday (at KFC) a guy named john complimented elder noads tie and we struck a conversation where we got his number and we had a lesson with him yesterday where we talked and walked in a park and in short, listened to him about his struggles, until he turned it around and asked us about our message which we started with the plan of salvation into the restoration and he accepted a book of Mormon and seemed genuinely committed to read it! So we are super excited for him. 

We've had less and less contact with webster unfortunately, but Ryan oh boy we may have opened quite the discussion. We had him listen to the talk "Joseph Smith and the problem of evil" and if you dont know what that talk is, its basically a guy with a billion degrees in philosophy, theology, psychology etc. And we are going to have a discussion that is going to go places. And all the comments and questions he had remarkably connected to the PMG lesson 2, the plan of salvation. I have a testimony of the missionary discussions that PMG has. It is inspired. (Ask me for screenshots haha)

So yeah lots more happening and more on the way, keep praying for us we need as many prayers as we can get!

Season 5 Episode 12: 3,000 Likes and Staying

 Yes indeed its transfer week, and elder Noad and I are both staying here in the promised land of LaSalle! 

We've done quite a bit over this last week, including getting the page viable enough that the page has reached 3000 likes!! There's probably not even 200 members in Montreal. So that's pretty rad. It has become quite the finding source! As well as a miracle generator. 

So I'm pretty sure that validates the prophecy of the 'Lord will hasten His work in His time' so yeah. Church is true btw. 

Anyways, some up dates with the work here, micheal is so ready for baptism and hes still set for the 22nd, its just a matter of getting all the lessons through Haha. Then an update of the Indian family that came to church, the sisters are going to invite them for baptism this week!! So legendary. Then with transfers, we are getting a third team here in LaSalle!!!!!!!! Its going to be such a legendary transfer. We unfortunately lost the mandarin elders they are going into a new district, so our district is the elders and sisters in Kirkland, and then us and the 2 sets of sisters in LaSalle! It will be quite fun to continue to set up district councils and gather the talents needed to keep the work going!! 

Ok and now here's a cool!

So shan one of the ladies that elder Noad was messaging had a wicked dream where (she was meeting with some jw sisters and us) she was walking in this room with these 2 jw sisters and it started burning and as it was burning, she found a way to escape, but not the 2 jw sisters, as she was trying to get way, there were these others that were trying to trick her into going into a burning room, and then she saw elder Noad and he led her into a room and told her it would be safe there, and she was! Her dream concluded and after she said that, she also told us that before she went to bed that night, she prayed and asked God if the message we shared was true! (We also got her a physical copy of the bom the day before) so yeah! Visions are real apparantly haha. Or at least dreams. And shan is the most honest seeker for truth I've ever seen. I wish everyone was like her haha.

Nonetheless, the work continues, ryan is doing well, and we had another great discussion, though he's kinda turned a bit, hes more interested in the metaphysics of the religion or other things like that, but nonetheless hes making progress and reading the book of Mormon! 

Webster has been harder to get a hold of with his busy work schedule, and then starleen has been making great progress and it's been awesome to have Irish help her out! 

We definitely need to spend more time finding, but its kinda hard when we get busy with the page and working on the other platforms, but it just takes more planning on our end haha.

Season 5 Episode 11: Phase 1 part 2

So this may be a little shorter as well because we going on district pday bb! 

But this week was legit, Micheal would like to be baptized and so we are shooting for the 22nd for him, kany and ilgiz are going to kragistan (or something like that) not sure when they are coming back, so for now we've stopped teaching them, still working with Irish and his neighbor starleen, they are doing so good! We have another lesson with ryan tonight, and then webster is slowly cracking open the book of Mormon more so we are grateful for that! Shana is also good, she got sick and works a lot so it been a bit since we've seen here haha. 

But this week we had a handful of great meetings and have gathered many ideas for the page! Including but not limited to, a family history group, and french learning group, and an English learning group! All of which we hope to have weekly lessons for those group members! It's so freaking hype the page is doing so well and it has been a miracle generator and people finder haha. We are truly pioneers in this process, but we are getting blessed and knowledge on how to grow is given to us weekly. I love how this whole pioneering process is a form of repentance as well. We are changing our former methods or habits into higher and holier methods and habits. 

Also in other news, my comp and i gave our first zone conference teaching! On empathy and it was legit. The spirit was so strong and I love the feeling. Even if it's not in person yet... 

But district councils have been so hype and I'm glad we can keep having them. Plus as long as we are outside, we can have das and go out to restaurants! 

I love this Gospel, I love this assignment, I love this church, it's true, The inspiration is to evident and valid. 

So read your scriptures and pray so you can get this same feeling and blessing.
