But yeah as far as the travel plans went, we got to stay the night at the zls apt. With elder atkins and albertson which was so fun. Elder Atkins and I talked probably till like 1 in the morning about Maine and the next few weeks for him and I. Then we got up at 4 to drive to the airport where we were joined by elder Rougeau who was going to Cornwall! So it was pretty fun to see him again haha. The flight was nice way more smooth then the flight to Halifax when I first got here and when we stepped off the plane, it was like, I can't read. Everything was in french! Fortunately there were subtitles in english for a handful of things but I was like yooo people are talking and I can't understand them! I was just getting super pumped. We then left the airport to be greeted by a huge city and massive skyscrapers, like halifax has nothing on this place! So after driving to the apartment, we did some studies and then headed to the mission office! And man that was such a wonderful time. I got to see elder Fife (I replaced him in presque isle) and is one of the aps, as well as elder Brown (hes an office missionary) and a whole bunch of others that I've never seen before. So it will be pretty radical to get to know all these new missionaries!
Fortunately in the district I know the zone leaders, elder Duncan (who served in holton so I know of him and have seen him a couple times) and elder strong who was in my district at one point while I was in Maine and it's going to be a legit transfer.
Then after dropping off elder lee at the mission office and seeing those homies, we traveled back home for some lunch and a few more studies and planning and then headed back to the mission office to pick up elder scott and tait! And it was a joyous reunion. A member also got us some food which was awesome and we had a last supper with elder scott tait Atkins and a few others and it was quite a time then we headed home with elder scott and tait and they had their exit conference and testimony meeting, elder Calabuig and I worked out some other stuff while elder scott and tait did that, and then elder scott and I talked till proabaly 1 about Maine and other things, got up, and shortly after dropped them off at the airport to head home. And man that was a sad time. I got pretty trunk after that for a bit. But we got home and started working!
The ward is super fantastic we had a sunday devotional so I got to see a handful of members, and a couple days later a correlation meeting with the Wml and I'm so pumped to get to know all these people!
Also elder Calabuig is a great planner and we have a meal plan so we've eaten great these last few days with curries and soups. Its awesome.
Still learning many people's names, but we have a couple people on date for baptism Irish who is a cool motorbike rider, and zondile who I have yet to meet. Hes the kinda guy that in person contact is key and we can't quite do that. Then there are a handful of others we are teaching. And have had a handful of lessons with a couple of them so far, one is Ryan, then there are a couple kiddos from a recent concert that we are teaching, and then a couple others. I haven't gotten there names down yet haha.
But yeah way excited not for any specific reason or anything, mostly the ward and the people to get to know here. Thank you for all your prayers! They are coming in clutch.
