Season 3 Episode 9: Another Reunion, Double Trouble, and Repentance

Yes so there was quite a reunion at zone conference. Elder Scott and Elder Atkins where there and man was it a time. And I've got the one up on both of them because I stayed the same amount of time as they both did (they both stayed 3 transfers and I stayed 6 haha) so we were talking about the great things that went on and the greatness that occurred. we'll forever be the PI boiz (plus elder fife but he wasn't there)

zone conference was super great on top of Elder scott and atkins being there we got to discuss planning a LOT. And man I've got some repenting to do and it's almost done haha. so i'm including these things i've learned in hopes that maybe others can also improve there own planning, but it includes having a vision (for personal goals, companion goals, and the people you teach, etc.) goals that will help achieve the vision, and then plans to accomplish the goals. (previously I was just putting out goals and that was pretty much it) and i got to say having visions for my own goals and the people we are working with makes goal setting easier and focused. So yeah! if your not doing it this way try it out!

We also talked about a restoration initiative and teaching the first vision and getting members to be hyped for general conference and then before conference, have shared it with others. so that's what have have been doing with members recently and its quite fun! the way that we have done it is to actually practice teaching the restoration, show the video and then extend the invitation so we get practice and they get noted.

but yeah this week as gone by quick! we taught english connect wednesday and that is always fun! and then we had our first official lesson with Dee! and it was incredible. we brought brother ludlow (a solid member) and he had the same upbringing and skepticism towards religion as Dee. and that was a miracle. the lesson was just full of the spirit and was honestly one of the coolest lessons ive had. we hardly taught the restoration, but we answer many questions and shared many experiences. then after the lesson towards the evening she messaged us and thanked us for the lesson and then the next day found some anti. fortunately we are still solid with her and will have another discussion soon!

Betty is also on the slow recovery. she's heading to the dr's again this week but shes doing well!
we also had interviews and those are always great. and president Low shared a solid snip-it. (I asked him and commended him on his transfer revelation because I could see God's hand in many of the new assignments, and he shared that he now understands the smallest fraction of what joseph smith felt when he translated the plates. and hearing that I was just in awe. I heckn love president low.
then zone conference! and that was lit.backing up a bit, we actually picked up elder brown and lettermen thursday morning and they did some work for us in sackville for 2 full days! (they had their flight back to corner brook at 9). so it was great to see the both of them again!
Saturday was our planning day and we did quite a bit of changing so that was almost the day haha.
Sunday was great! some of the coolest members blessed their baby. we also had a stellar lesson with John!
Monday was quite the loop. during our daily contact i felt inspired to call brother whynaught (we are helping him get his patriarchal blessing) and he picked up the phone and told us that he can't move his legs and was in a lot of pain. so we went over quickly to see what was up and then ended up helping im out for quite some time. We called his fellowshipper and he came to help us out too. he should be fine now! we also helped stack wood too. so that was quite a service filled day!

But yeah! those are the highlights for this week! hope your week was as good as mine! and it can be if your read your scriptures and pray!
Love you all and hope this coming week is a great one for you!!
